During Holy Week 2026, we experienced a pilgrimage in which the Passion of Jesus profoundly touched the heart of each pilgrim, renewing faith and awakening a sincere desire for conversion. Every step of the journey was marked by moments of prayer, silence, and encounter, where the love of Christ became close and transformative.
In a special way, the reflections of the youngest members of the group were a true gift: with simplicity and authenticity, they shared how God and the Virgin Mary are present in their lives, reminding us that grace has no age and that the Lord continues to call every heart. In their words, we were able to see that when someone opens their arms with trust, God’s love acts, heals, and guides.
It was an experience of community, listening, and deep encounter, where each pilgrim returned with a strengthened soul and the certainty that God continues to work wonders in those who are open to receiving Him.
Sacred Sanctuaries Visited:
In Medjugorje, a land of grace and encounter, we began our journey on Apparition Hill (Podbrdo), where many have experienced a profound call to conversion, lifting our prayers in an atmosphere of living faith. We also climbed Mount Križevac, the Hill of the Cross, praying the Way of the Cross in a moment that invited us to contemplate the love and sacrifice of Christ.
We continued to Tihaljina, home to the original image of the Queen of Peace, a place that inspires recollection and trust in Mary’s intercession. We visited Patrick’s Castle and the Cenacle, spaces of testimony and community that bring us closer to living the Gospel in a concrete way today. Throughout the journey, we shared reflections with locals who have witnessed this vibrant spirituality and participated in the parish’s evening program, joining in prayer, adoration, and the celebration of the Eucharist—an experience that truly transforms the heart.
